Sofía Cristina Vázquez Benítez

Sofía Cristina Vázquez Benítez is an ambitious, dedicated entrepreneurship student working on a minor in marketing at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico. She is currently a sophomore, actively working with wedding and party planners as an usher and in servicing roles, possesses great communication skills in both English and Spanish, and is friendly and professional. When working with customers, her priorities are satisfaction, organization, and teamwork. In March 2019, Vázquez Benítez was chosen to participate in the innovative program “La Cepa,” which helps local entrepreneurs fulfill their business dreams. Her “Sofia’s Bistro” idea was rated “inspiring and successful”. She is now striving to further develop her idea and in the near future establish her business, as part of this entrepreneurship program includes facilitating the tools for innovation and sustainability for personal businesses in Puerto Rico, and these are included in the plans of “Sofia’s Bistro.” Her awareness of the importance of reducing waste in businesses is a target she urgently wants to address. She believes sustainability is possible and should be included in every business plan. Her belief is that “Creativity and Passion are essential for success.”
