2020 Youth Innovation Challenge

When: 14 April, 2020

The 2020 Youth Innovation Challenge hosted by the Commission for Environmental Cooperation invites North American youth aged 18 to 30 to propose innovative solutions to address environmental challenges and opportunities for communities in Canada, Mexico and the United States. This 4th annual challenge focuses on social entrepreneurship for environmental sustainability.

Submit your solution on Submittable and you could:

  • Receive CAD $5,000 in seed funding
  • Present your innovative solution to North America’s top environmental officials at the CEC’s Council Session in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 25 & 26 June, 2020
  • Visit an innovation center at an academic institution in North America in collaboration with the CEC EcoInnovation Network14

EcoInnovation Network Meeting

When: 22-23 January 2020
Where: Tom Love Innovation Hub, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, United States

Experts from the Faculty of Social Responsibility at Anáhuac University, Mexico City, had the opportunity to visit their peers at the Tom Love Innovation Hub and the Ronnie K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (I-CCEW), at the University of Oklahoma, and other entrepreneurial experts from the Oklahoma City area. As founding members of the EcoInnovation Network, they were engaged in their mission to cultivate youth leadership and exchange knowledge on sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship in North America.
