Nicholas Palaschuk is a PhD candidate in sustainability management at University of Waterloo. Currently, a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS-Doctoral Scholar and Energy Council of Canada Energy Policy Research Fellow, Palaschuk works in the fields of corporate sustainability, organizational behavior, and change management. Combining a strong multidisciplinary research background with direct experience engaging stakeholders across Canada, his professional work focuses on engaging industrial organizations in creating a strong culture of sustainability. Through sustainability-oriented research at the building, firm, and individual employee levels, his research contributes to building business process management innovational techniques that improve the corporate translation of sustainability principles and create green-performance linkages. As a co-founder of the SEED Innovation Lab, he demonstrates a continued commitment to empowering sustainability professionals and the development of sustainable businesses.
